Girl Scout Camping Buckets

March 5th is the first overnight "camping" experience for my Girl Scout Brownies!  I am SO excited, as are they.  So, to prepare, we are going to make camp buckets out of recycled 5-gallon buckets to take our things in.  Here are the steps I took to create my own...

Plain buckets from a fellow-Freecycler...

TB, from work, suggested covering it with Duck Tape.  And since

I've been trying to come up with a craft to use this pink and orange

tie-dye tape for, the idea was perfect...

My friend, EO, then suggested adding ribbon to the handle.

And, like I always say...ice cream= sprinkles and crafts=ribbon.

I cut the various ribbons EO gave me for Christmas and adorned the plain metal handle.

Tomorrow I shall put together the lid/seat!
